Ingredients
- 170 grams butter
- 150 grams brown sugar
- 350 grams dry fruits
- 100 grams dry dates
- 2/3 cups of orange juice
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 52 grams vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 210 grams flour
- 1.5 tbsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 tbsp ginger powder
- 1/4 tbsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp allspice
- 100 grams walnuts
Instructions
- First of all, add butter to a pan and include dry fruits, dates, brown sugar and orange juice one by one. mix them all and make a paste.
- Secondly, add flour to a bowl and include all the ingredients.
- Lastly, mix the flour powder and the paste. Make a batter of them and cook in the oven.
Make fruit cake (photo-wise)
First, put 170 grams of butter in a pan to make a delicious and soft fruit cake.
Add 150 grams or 3/4 cups of soft brown sugar to the pan at medium flame.
Include 350 grams of dry fruits of your choice.
Add a hundred grams of dry dates to the pan.
To enhance the taste add 2 to 3 cups of sweetened orange juice and one and a half tablespoon of orange zest.
Finally, add two tablespoons of molasses. Molasses is going to add an incredibly deep caramel flavor to your fruit cake.
Mix all the ingredients well and make a paste. Rest the paste for some time and add 52 grams of vegetable oil to a bowl.
Include three large eggs with the veg oil. Whisk them and put them in the dry fruit paste.
Add 210 grams of flour with a half teaspoon of baking powder in another bowl.
Now add one and a half teaspoon of salt with one and a half teaspoon of ground ginger powder.
Also, include one and a half teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
Include a quarter teaspoon of nutmeg with all seasonings.
With the nutmeg include one teaspoon of all spice.
Mix all the ingredients well and put the powder in the dry fruit paste.
Walnuts make the taste better so use 100 grams of walnuts in this recipe.
Mix all the ingredients correctly and put the cake batter in a prepared cake tin.
Cook the batter in the oven for 75 to 80 minutes until a skewer or thin knife comes out clean.
